Training your dog to go ahead
We'll examine the steps necessary to train a dog to march away from its trainer in a straight path in today's session. This is a fantastic talent to have since it allows you to create more elaborate stunts and situations.
A pointer is a useful adjunct tool for this drill. You may use an ordinary ladle in place of a pointer if you don't have one.
Instructing a dog to "touch the pointer"
Thus, the first thing we need to do is get the pet to touch the pointer. The process involves bringing the dog a clicker after rubbing cheese on its pointer.
